Sometimes you can't make it to the library to get that book you've been waiting to read! Sometimes you wait FOREVER for a book you've been wanting to read to be returned! Problem solved: PUT IT ON HOLD! Watch this instructional video to help you place a hold on any print book from the library. When your book is ready, you will get a notification in homeroom or your book will be delivered directly to you!

this video is to show you how to login to Destiny discover how to then once you're logged in and also check out ebooks you're going to click on the library link and it will take you to the Punxsutawney High School library webpage this page has basic information about the light and the resources available on the right you're going to click on card catalog to access destiny this page probably is starting to look familiar to you because it looks just the the elementary school from here to search for a book you're going to click on catalog home screen has the various sites that are available as resources for students here at the high school is it going to take you to this search page this is where you do searches for specific books in the library we are going to use Destiny discover today over here in past years you probably have to use Destiny Quest we will not be using Destiny Quest here at the high school go to access Destiny discover cover this is what Destiny discover looks like so you notice what has loaded up here is the starts farm this is where you can search for various books in the library you will see that the hate U give the book I search for has two different formats the first format is a regular print book you know this because it says here underneath the format type the other copy that we have is an audiobook as depicted right here notice that the audiobook does not have a call number does have a call number it is currently checked in back to the main page of Destiny discover you simply click on Destiny discover and it takes you back to this inatome sprained are several categories the first category you're going to see his recently added books popular titles Topix these are our lightbox collection these are interactive books you can watch videos and you can access outside websites on them these are some of the books that we have and these are some the audio books do we have in the section down here are the collections user collections of websites books documents and other resources on a specific topic if you noticed that you the first thing we're going to do is put a book on hold so let's say that you wish to read the boy who dared you're going to click on that book is currently checked out if you login you can access that book as well as checking as well as putting it on hold this is not an ebook so you would not be able to actually read the book there's also a link back here we can't see it because of this when did this in front of it that there is a link back here as well if you want to put this book on hold you click on login and it'll take you to this login screen your login is going to be the same thing to use to log into the laptops for this demonstration it has logged in you're going to see stop. Because I'm going to prom and I would like to put that book on hold okay 7 to go ahead and put on hold and it says we have received you are a quest boxer whenever that is returned the student with the namesake name
