PAHS Attendance Expectations
Dear Parent/Guardian,
We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to remind you of the importance of submitting an excuse for your child’s absence from school. Parents or guardians have three (3) days from the student’s return to school to submit a valid excuse for any absence.
To submit an excuse, you may choose one of the following methods:
1. Email: Send the excuse to [email protected]
2. In-Person: Send the excuse with your child to submit to the attendance office.
3. Fax: Fax the excuse to 814-938-7554.
Please be aware that failure to submit an excuse within three (3) days of the student’s return will result in the absence being classified as illegal.
A maximum of ten (10) days of parent excused absences shall be permitted during a school year. All absences beyond ten (10) cumulative days shall require an excuse from a licensed practitioner of the healing arts (doctor) or they will be classified as illegal.
