Punxsutawney Area High School Home

April is Month of the Military Child and we would like to recognize the students of PAHS who have a parent that is currently serving or has served in one of our US Military branches. We honor these students for the sacrifices they've made as a military child and their important role in supporting a family member during their time of service. Any PAHS Student who is a Military Child is invited to visit the announcement on their Canvas Dashboard to complete a very brief survey by 3PM on April 21. A certificate of appreciation will then be awarded to these students as a "Thank You" for their service.

The Punxsy DECA team is hosting an evening with comedy hypnotist Mike Lee on Friday, April 17 at 7PM in the PAHS Auditorium! Mike combines all his skills of psychology, hypnosis, magic, comedy, and entertainment to put on an unforgettable show!  Tickets are $10 for presale or $15 at the door.  Students can purchase presale tickets in the Cafeteria during lunches and the public can get theirs from the PAHS Main Office.  PLEASE NOTE: A signed participation waiver must be submitted before purchasing a ticket for this event.  Click on this announcement's headline to download/print a copy of the waiver and bring it with you when you buy your ticket! Punxsutawney Area School District is requesting athletic supply bids for the 2026-27 Fall, Winter & Spring Sports seasons.
