Punxsutawney Area High School Home

April is Month of the Military Child and we would like to recognize the students of PAHS who have a parent that is currently serving or has served in one of our US Military branches. We honor these students for the sacrifices they've made as a military child and their important role in supporting a family member during their time of service. Any PAHS Student who is a Military Child is invited to visit the announcement on their Canvas Dashboard to complete a very brief survey by 3PM on April 21. A certificate of appreciation will then be awarded to these students as a "Thank You" for their service.

Punxsutawney Area School District is requesting athletic supply bids for the 2026-27 Fall, Winter & Spring Sports seasons. Instructions to bidders and specifications may be obtained online at www.punxsy.k12.pa.us under the Business Office section. The School Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids

Our 2026 Variety Show Directors invite you to come see this year's show on April 9th, 10th, and 11th. Join us for a fun-filled evening of skits and specialty acts starting at 7 PM each night! Tickets are $10 reserved, $8 general admission. Reserved tickets will be on sale Tuesday/Wednesday during STAR period. General admission tickets will be sold at the door. This year's Directors are (left to right): Caleigh Smelko, Olivia Smith, Lucas Mennitti, Maggie Guidice, and Riley Miller.
