After-School Tutoring Program

PAHS is now offering an after-school tutoring program for all high school level students. Taking the place of our previous Alt Ed program, attendance in the Tutoring Center is a requirement for any student who has been expelled from school as a part of their adjudication process. However, any other high school student may attend the program if they wish to get extra help in any of their school subjects. The Center is open every day after school from 3:15 to 5:15pm in room 118 at the High School. Students are welcome to stay for any, or all, of the hours during each visit.
A different group of subject teachers is assigned each night, so students must plan their visits depending on the course(s) with which they need assistance. Students can check the assignment rosters for the center with Mr. Barbazzeni in the main office, with the counselors or secretary in the Guidance Office, or by stopping in room 118.
In addition to the tutoring teachers assigned to the Center, any other subject teacher may make special arrangements to meet with students (individually or in small groups) on an as-needed basis.
