Welcome! My name is Erika Rishel and I am one of the School Psychologists in the Punxsutawney Area School District. I work with the entire district, servicing students grade K-12. Some of my job responsibilities include assessment and identification, consultation with teachers, staff and parents, and implementation of academic and behavioral interventions. A large portion of my time is spent assisting the team in determining eligibility and need for special education services.
