The robotics team, formally known as Weather Capital Robotics, is a club dedicated to helping students learn and showcase skills/knowledge related to engineering, electronics, machining, and teamwork! The club competes in the annual BotsIQ competition held in March and April. Some years, we also compete in the National Robotics League competition held in May. The competitions are similar to Battlebots, but much cooler! We build in the 15 lb. weight class. (And often have much more sparks, action, and fire) We have been competing since 2007, and from 2014 with our current advisor. We are extremely proud of our history, and where we have come from! Look below for some videos of our bouts and more about us!
