Indiana high school took 1st place in the large schools, followed by Kiski Area, Mercyhurst Prep, St. Marys, then Punxsutawney.  A total of 12 large schools and 11 small schools from all over western Pennsylvania attended the event.  Jason Grusky, PAHS Math Team advisor, said he was "extremely proud of this year's team.  Sophomore Rooney Kunselman was our top performer, finishing 16th out of 255 students with the highest score by a 10th grader at the competition.  Senior Ethan Booher was close behind, finishing 28th in the field."

Additionally, Grusky added "with 255 students taking the test, to come home with a 5th place plaque is quite an accomplishment.  I think it's a testament to the quality of students and faculty here at PAHS."
