Congratulations to Punxsy Senior Maggie Guidice who was recently recognized as the Career Women's Club October Girl of the Month! PUNXSY PROUD!

The annual Powder Puff Football game is scheduled for for Tuesday, October 21, at 6:00PM when the Subway Seniors take on the Jersey Mike Juniors at Jack LaMarca Stadium! All proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish foundation.

PASD REMINDER: FLEX DAY AND TEACHER INSERVICE
There is a Flex Day on Friday, October 17. High School student dismissal will be at 11:40; Elementary student dismissal at 12:40. Also there is NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS on Monday, October 20--this is a teacher inservice day.

In an effort to preserve a safer and healthier school environment, Punxsutawney Area High School recently installed new air and noise sensors in student restrooms that are capable of detecting signs of vaping activity. NJHS is seeking photos of veterans and active military personnel for their Veterans Day slideshow presentation in November. Parents/guardians: we have placed a link to submit photos digitally in the Canvas announcements on each High School student's Canvas Dashboard. If you would like to submit a photo to have a veteran or active service member from your family honored at our Veteran's Day Assembly, please ask your student to assist you with the submission through their Canvas account. Submissions will be accepted until October 24.
