Mr. Barbazzeni

 

 

Welcome to the Punxsutawney Area High School! I am Mr. Manny Barbazzeni the Principal for PAHS as well as the administrator of the eAcademny cyber program.  I am excited to be here and look forward to a great year. 

 

I graduated from Clarion University in 2004 with a  Bachelor Degree in Secondary Education, Earth and Space Science. I began my teaching career at the Clearfield Area Middle School where I taught Earth Science and tutored math. In 2007 I was hired in the Ridgway Area Middle/High School as the Dean of Discipline/Math and Science Teacher. In 2011 I became the Assistant Principal/Athletic Director at the Ridgway Middle/High School. I remained the Assistant Principal in Ridgway through the 2017-18 school year. 

 

My goal as an administrator is to provide students with a safe, welcoming, and collaborative environment to become life-long learners and productive members of the community. My expectations for each student are simple: Be on time; Be Respectful; Follow the Rules; and Give Your Best Effort. If one can follow these four items, they will not only be successful in school, they will be successful with whatever their future may hold.
